Fly Me Home Wonders

Feeling lost and alone in a strange new city, Leelu wishes she could fly away back home – her real home where her dad is, thousands of miles away. London is cold and grey and the neighbours are noisy and there’s concrete everywhere. But Leelu is not alone; someone is leaving her gifts outside her house – wonders which give her curious magical powers.
Powers which might help her find her way home . . .

Year 6 have really enjoyed reading and completing activities from their new story in Guided Reading. We even went into the playground and found some of our own wonders outside; acorns!

Edward says “I wonder what Leelu will find next. I think I might know who is leaving them for her!”

Sem said “I agree, I think I’ve figured it out and made a prediction about the person who has the dog that’s like a wolf!”
