The Bear and the Piano

This week, our classroom was visited by a bear and a piano to help us explore the story The Bear and the Piano by David Litchfield.

The children loved reading this beautiful book about a bear who learns to play the piano and follows his dreams. We had some great discussions about the bear’s journey and the emotions he felt along the way.

The story inspired some amazing writing, too! The children created their own tales about animals discovering music and imagined what might happen next in the bear’s life.

It’s been a fun and creative week, and the children loved that the story was brought to life!
