Year 1: Mister Toots

One stormy day, Bella finds a mysterious little stranger on her doorstep. He is cold, hungry and can only say “Toot!”, so Bella and her children welcome him into their home and name him Mister Toots. He soon becomes a much-loved member of the family and their community, but one day he suddenly disappears into the sky!

Here are some of our thoughts:

Ava said, “I like Mister Toots because he is funny!”

Benaiah said, “I wonder where he came from?”

Freya said, “I like it when he comes back?”

We are enjoying this magical story and thinking about how we can show kindness and welcome others.
