Nursery: Nursery Rhymes

This term, Nursery have been having lots of fun exploring the wonderful world of nursery rhymes! We have been singing familiar favourites such as Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, Incy Wincy Spider, Humpty Dumpty and Baa Baa Black Sheep. The children have loved joining in with actions, learning new words, exploring rhythm and rhyme, and developing their confidence through singing together.

Nursery rhymes have given us lots of opportunities to develop our language, communication, memory and listening skills, while having lots of fun along the way!

Noah: “I love singing Incy Wincy because I can do the spider actions!”

Tiana: “I like Twinkle Twinkle because I sing it with my friends.”

Renee: “I love Baa Baa Black Sheep because it’s funny and I can sing really loud!”
