Nursery: Goldilocks and the Three Bears
by Mara Alperin and Kate Daubney
This term Nursery have been learning all about fairytales! We have been reading lots of stories but we love the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears!
It tells the story of a mischievous girl who wanders into a forest and finds a house belonging to three bears. While the bears are out for a walk, Goldilocks enters their home, tastes their porridge, sits in their chairs and breaks one. She then tries their beds before falling asleep in baby bear's bed. The bears return, discover their porridge is eaten, their chair is broken, and find Goldilocks asleep, causing her to wake, scream, and run away!
Tia said, “I like when the porridge fell on Goldilocks hair, it was so funny.”
Layke said, “I really like Daddy bear, he has a loud voice.”
Theodore said, “I like when Baby Bear’s chair broke.”
