4BC: The Last Bear

The Last Bear tells the story of April, who travels with her father to a remote Arctic research station called Bear Island. Whilst there, April discovers a starving, injured polar bear and dedicates herself to saving him from the effects of climate change and the plastic waste that has stranded him. The books explores the themes of friendship, family and the impacts of the climate crisis.
